The museum honors Gustav Weißkopf (Gustave Whitehead), a German-American aviation pioneer who reportedly achieved powered flight in 1901, two years before the Wright brothers. A replica of his aircraft No. 21b is on display, alongside immersive installations and exhibits on early aviation and other flight pioneers.
